Price: for tour 900 NOK (price includes coffee/tea in a cafe at the end of the tour)
Photography Interests: landscapes, architecture, nature, cityscape, waterfalls, wooden houses.

Spectacular tour with many old houses, flowers, landscapes and nature, and all these in Oslo! The tour will be held in less touristic place. You will see oldest standing building in Oslo - Old Aker Church which was build in 1080 and represents a rare example of a church from early Middle Age. The two small roads Damstredet and Telthusbakken are just below the church. They are the most charming and picturesque part of the city with well-preserved and inhabited wooden houses from the late 18th and early 19th century. The allotment gardens on the south side of Telthusbakken give the area a countryside atmosphere. During 1877-1882, when Edvard Munch was a teenager, he performed a series of watercolors and oil sketches with Old Aker Church and Telthusbakken. Then we will continue to Akerselva. It is one of the main rivers running through Oslo with nine km long, 20 main waterfalls, and a combined drop of 149 m. Our rout lies only through two of them. The tour will end in a picturesque cafe on Akerselva's bank, where we'll discuss your pictures.

Oslo Must – Sightseeing Photo Tour Oslo

Duration: 3-5 hrs
Price: from 700 NOK and depends on itinerary
Photography Interests: landscapes, architecture, cityscapes, historical sites, street photography

Exemplary itinerary:

The photo tour begins at Oslo Opera – one of the most determinedly modern and different buildings of its type. Then we make our way through Oslo's first town hall, and the city's oldest restaurant, Café Engebret. We will photograph a square Christiania torv, which is known for the fountain shaped like a hand pointing to the ground. This is where the Danish-Norwegian king Christian IV decided to rebuild the city after the big fire in 1624. He pointed to this spot and said: "The new town will lie here!" Then we walk into Akershus fortress and enjoy spectacular views overlooking the Oslo fjord. Our next point is Aker Brygge - one of Oslo's primary attractions, unique sea-front boardwalk with its combination of old and modern. Then we continue to the Royal Palace - one of the country’s most important buildings, and a concrete symbol of the course of Norwegian history since 1814. We will witness changing guards and continue to the unique sculpture park – Vigeland park. It is the life work of the sculptor with more than 200 sculptures in bronze, granite and cast iron.
